Mesa Pizza( Jerry Joy Sean)

  We went to Mesa Pizza after school on February 8th, That day was so cold and gloomy, and we were talking to each other when we walked. (address is 114 E Washington St, Iowa City, IA 52240) This restaurant is not very big, it has a long gallery. At that time, it was empty because time was so early. They putted some pop musics. We saw some special mural on the wall, and we went to bought few piece pizzas. I bought two piece, one was potato with tomato, another one was pepper with beef. They have a lot of types pizza, absolutely you will like one. Then we talked about some interest things. Anyway, that was a great day. (Jerry)

 There are some different things between Mesa and Pizza Hut, which is a pizza place in my home country. First difference is decorating. Mesa has a lot of painting on the wall such as a big octopus with one eye. Pizza Hut has fancy decorate, they have oil painting or customers’ photos. Also, the taste of pizza is different. Mesa has a pretty unique style; I could feel two different tastes at the same time. For example, I had a slice of pepperoni and sausage. The first bite gave me a good impression, but after that, the taste is kind of special for people, especially for Chinese. However, the taste of Pizza Hut in China is the opposite side of the Mesa. They put other things inside the pizza in order to achieve the goal to give customer’s full experience only in one bite. Every single pizza has only one taste. Therefore, for Chinese, Mesa is kind of hard to accept. (Joy)

At last weekend we went to the Mesa Pizza. That is a fantastic place! Mesa has a great decoration and a comfortable light. The beautiful wall painting is noteworthy. Perhaps most important of all, Mesa's considerably tasteful pizza. The reason why i think Mesa is terrific, mostly for its freshly made pizzas and a wide variety of choices. After all, a pizza with awesome ingredients is really only good when it is fresh and hot. I would also like to say that is the first time I eat pizza during Chinese Spring Festival. However, I enjoyed it.(Sean)
