The Art Building ( Comparer )

On Wednesday, my group and I went to the Art building. It is the most beautiful building I have seen till now. Compare to other places that I studied in before such as Starbucks, the art building is the best for some reasons. First of all, the view of this building is very nice, they have a lot of glass that allows you to sit, relax and study. Also, this building is very quiet. On the other hand, in Starbucks, the place is crowded and noise that sometimes you can not focus on your study.

Art Library

In Tuesday after class, my group and I went to Art Library which has a beautiful building with a beautiful view. The building built on a beautiful artificial lake and All the walls are made from glass, so the sunlight entering the building.  It is a good place for study and relaxing and I think it is the best place in Iowa city for meditation and thinking because it is calm and designed in a way open spaces, also everyone study alone. On the other hand, the main library where I usually study is a big building and has a lot of noise because it is always crowded and designed for collective study. It is the boring place because it does not have any view or painting like Art Library. The best things in Main Library are location and it has books from all majors. Personally, I prefer Art Library if I need to relax and study alone but if I want to meet with my friend to study and discuss I prefer The Main Library.

Visit of Bread Garden Market Patio

It is a cloudy and cold day.After class me and my group went to the Bread Garden Market Patio. It is a place near by a market. So people could buy almost everything they want from market. It is very convenient. It was pretty crowded when I get there. Only a couple of tables are unoccupied. It was noisy because a lot people are talking. Also more than half of the people in there are eating and only a few of people are reading or studying. It looks like a short and narrow aisle with some tables and chairs. It has many glass that can look through it to see both the inside of market and the street. I don't think this is a good place to study but this is a good place to eat some food and enjoy a book for relax. It is also good for loose study because people could eat and drink in there. Especially when a lot of libraries and study places don't allowed people to eat and drink inside. I hope you guys could try this place. By the way, it is in the opposite side of Public Library. It is very convenient to search some information from the library.

on Tuesday afternoon, me and my group visited  Bread Garden Market Patio. As a comparer, I will compare between this market with other markets. I have visited a lot of markets since I came to Iowa, and each market has some advantages and dis advantages. for instance, fairway market is much cheaper than Bread Garden Market Patio, but the quality is not the optimal.  Bread Garden Market Patio has a good quality almost in all its products especially in vegetables and fruits. This market has a restaurant  and bar, which make it distinctive from others. The  only negative thing is the price, other wise every thing is perfect.

Today we went to Art Library after we finished our classes. Good weather made us excited, especially when we saw the beautiful building with a beautiful blue lake. The building is built by many big glasses window, so the sunshine could directly into the library. First, we came into the first show’s room. It exhibited some printed famous artwork, and then we went upstairs and saw the book collection place. It is very big with lots of shelves and put some chairs next to the window, students can read the books under the sunshine. This library contains many books, but as its name, those books totally about art and contain some designer’s knowledge books. It maybe not very useful for our major, but it still a good place to thinking and relaxing. We admired the students who study for art and design, because they can always study in this wonderful library.

On Monday, we went to Revival Store and it was interesting visit.The store is clean and spacious, great little spot in the Mall.It was Cute store in the front. The store have a lot of things such as clothes and accessories.There is often a good selection of shoes and accessories as well. Their price was reasonable for the spring. It's an eclectic mix of styles and pieces that changes all the time, so you'll always find something new inside. The store is set up so cute, the stuffs were very helpful and friendly.

Compare and contrast about White Rabbit store

Between my clothes and White Rabbit’s have some similarity and differences.

First of all, obviously, all of these clothes are for women. So it has a little weird for our team members except me. One of the biggest differences is the clothes style, as the store’s name, rabbit is the symbol for this store, you can find rabbit everywhere, not only on the clothes but also in the decoration. When people think about rabbit, most of them feel quiet delicate and cut. However, these are not suit for me, because of my character, I have less clothes with animal picture on it.

Second, I love the decoration in this store, although my team member said it looks very messy, I like this setting way. I can get surprise once I find something I like in the corner of the store. It is different with other store I usually bought in China. In my hometown, clerks like to put every product in a regular way and easy for costumer to find.

These are the similarity and differences between White Rabbit and the store I usually go when I was in China.

   White Rabbit is a nice place to female, Individually, I don’t like the place , because , there is no male cloth in it, however, I can tell , it is a good place, because I saw the cosumer’s face , they like the store, but for me I ‘m not able to understand it. The decoration of the store is not bad , so I think the store is pretty good. Everyone have a good time in it,  that is the most important thing.

White Rabbit

Today after afternoon class, my team Peggy, Andreas, and I went to White Rabbit (112 S Linn St, Iowa City, IA 52240). It is a women’s clothing store but it also has a lot of strange things such as American Indians things, dress, Exquisite plates, Sculptures, and Games. The price is good, not expensive but not cheaper also. It was not crowded I think because the time when we went. Finally, we didn’t buy anything just Thanks the Seller and went. It was an interesting place.
